Confidentiality Policy

This statement outlines StartEase's commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client information and information security management.

The company pledges not to disclose any information about clients to third parties, not to use clients' identities or brands for marketing purposes without their written consent, not to provide clients' names or information to other prospective clients for marketing purposes, and not to sell or disclose clients' lists or information to third parties.

The Confidentiality Agreement also states that any information provided by a client, including invention descriptions, technical and business information, ideas, trade secrets, and financial information, is considered confidential and will be protected by StartEase. The company will limit disclosure of this information within its own organization to those affiliates who have a need to know. StartEase and its affiliates will not disclose confidential information unless required to do so by law.

The agreement also states that StartEase will not be held responsible for any confidential information that is already in its possession prior to receiving it from the client, becomes a matter of public knowledge through no fault of StartEase, is rightfully received by StartEase from a third party not owing a duty of confidentiality to the client, or is independently derived by StartEase.

It's important to note that the client is solely responsible for any consequences, losses, or damages that StartEase may incur as a result of any unauthorized activities conducted by the client and may incur criminal or civil liability.

In addition to the above-mentioned points, the Confidentiality Agreement also states that StartEase will take all necessary precautions to protect client information, including implementing physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of client information.

The company will also regularly review and assess its information security practices to ensure they are in compliance with industry standards.

StartEase also commits to providing training to its employees and affiliates on the importance of maintaining confidentiality and protecting client information. The company will also have strict policies in place to ensure that any breaches of confidentiality are dealt with promptly and appropriately.

Furthermore, the Confidentiality Agreement also states that the obligations of StartEase under the agreement will survive the termination of the agreement for any reason and continue for as long as the confidential information remains confidential under the agreement.

In the event of any unauthorized disclosure of client information, StartEase will immediately notify the client and take all necessary steps to rectify the situation. The company will also cooperate fully with the client and any relevant authorities in any investigation related to the unauthorized disclosure.
